The Role We are looking for a passionate, student-centered educator to join our faculty. The ideal candidate isn't just an expert in their field, but a mentor who can spark a love for learning and build a supportive classroom culture. You will be responsible for designing engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and collaborating with a vibrant team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities Curriculum & Instruction: Develop and implement lesson plans that meet state standards while catering to diverse learning styles. Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, positive, and productive learning environment that encourages student agency. Assessment: Monitor student growth through formal and informal assessments; provide timely, constructive feedback. Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress and well-being. Professional Growth: Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and school-wide events.
Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in [Specific Field] or Education. Certification: Valid Iowa Teaching Certification in Elementary or Secondary Education Experience: Years of classroom experience preferred (open to exceptional new graduates).
