4th Grade Teacher

Hi, my name is Dawn Cowles (pronounced like the department store Kohls) I started my St. Cecilia journey in 2011 as the administrative assistant for the church. In 2016, I moved to St. Cecilia School as the office assistant/hot lunch program contact and Teacher’s Assistant. In 2020, I obtained my sub license and found my passion for education and my desire to go back to school. I graduated from UNI in 2025 and taught my 1st year in 1st grade at Greene County Elementary. I’m very excited to be back “home” at St. Cecilia School as the 4th grade teacher this year! In my free time I love reading, finding a neat bookstore/coffee shop, traveling, hiking, and watching my youngest daughter “cheer” for the cyclones! I can’t wait to be a part of the St Cecilia family again!!
