Bahl, Father Greg

A priest of 20 years, Fr. Greg is excited to serve in the Ames Area Pastorate. Preparing for priesthood at a monastery, St. Meinrad Archabbey, he experienced the power of great liturgy and expressions of faith, modeled by the monks. Fr. Greg went on to earn a Doctorate of Ministry from the University of Saint Mary of the Lake (Mundelein). His training emphasizes theological reflection, applied (practical) theology, and liturgy. Most recent assignments include being chaplain for Mt. Mercy University and the Sisters of Mercy, serving as the Director of the Office of Worship, and pastor of St. John XXlll parish in Cedar Rapids.
